**Job Overview:**
As a Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of trains. You will be responsible for developing test programs, coordinating activities, and analyzing data to identify potential issues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop test programs and coordinate activities to achieve quality, time, and cost objectives.
* Analyze test data and create reports to present to stakeholders.
* Manage faults and design validation issues raised during testing and collaborate with project experts and contractors.
* Lead a team of Testing Technicians.
**Requirements:**
* Possess a tertiary qualification or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
* Demonstrated experience in prioritizing and managing multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong organizational and communication skills to translate complex technical information clearly.
* Ability to provide timely specialist engineering advice and support.
**Desirable Qualifications:**
* At least 2 years' experience in similar or related roles.
* Knowledge and understanding of rolling stock systems.
* Knowledge of relevant Australian and international rolling stock standards.
* Experience in testing engineering designs.
