In 2024, eToro acquired Spaceship, an Australian investing platform built on the belief that investing should be simple, engaging, and meaningful. Spaceship offers products including Spaceship Voyager, Spaceship Super, and US Investing, helping Australians grow their wealth and take control of their financial futures. As part of eToro, Spaceship is now entering an exciting phase of growth, connecting local Australian investing experiences with a global investing platform.

We're looking for an experienced Digital Product Manager (5+ years) to own and deliver key projects within Spaceship's digital ecosystem. This role spans products, platforms, end-to-end customer journeys, and shared capabilities that support all of our investment products. You'll sit within the Spaceship product team and play a key role in the ongoing integration and transition between Spaceship and eToro, working closely with local and global teams to evolve the Spaceship experience while embedding eToro's global platforms, frameworks, and ways of working.

This role does not own a single financial product or a fixed slice of platform infrastructure. Instead, you'll lead end-to-end digital initiatives that enhance how customers experience and use our financial products — from discovery and onboarding through to investing, servicing, and cross-product engagement.

The scope of work spans:

* Spaceship Voyager
* Spaceship Super
* US Investing
* eToro, including the integration between Spaceship and eToro

Projects in this role may include (but are not limited to): onboarding and account flows, identity and verification, money movement, portfolio and performance experiences, cross-product navigation, shared tooling, and ecosystem-level features that make investing feel coherent, intuitive, and trustworthy.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role with influence. There is no people management responsibility in the foreseeable future; impact is delivered through ownership, execution, and cross-team influence.

You'll help shape how customers experience Spaceship end-to-end, while partnering closely with Financial Product Managers, Engineering, Design, Risk & Compliance, Customer Support, and Operations.

What you'll do

Lead and be accountable for parts of the digital ecosystem

* Lead end-to-end digital journeys and platforms that cut across multiple products
* Design and improve shared experiences that support Voyager, Super, US Investing, and eToro
* Ensure the ecosystem feels consistent, intuitive, and connected for customers

Drive cross-product experience and integration

* Lead initiatives that improve how customers move between products and platforms
* Shape and deliver integration experiences between Spaceship and eToro
* Reduce fragmentation and complexity across the customer journey

Lead discovery and delivery

* Identify customer and business problems worth solving across the ecosystem
* Drive initiatives from discovery through delivery and iteration
* Write PRDs, define success metrics, and work closely with Product Design and Engineering

Drive growth and engagement at an ecosystem level

* Own digital levers that improve activation, engagement, retention, and cross-product adoption
* Use data to diagnose friction and prioritise high-impact improvements
* Be accountable for outcomes, not just outputs

Partner in a regulated environment

* Work closely with Financial Product Managers to ensure digital experiences align with product definitions, suitability, and governance guardrails
* Partner with Risk & Compliance to implement regulatory and disclosure requirements correctly in digital flows
* Design experiences that are compliant and customer-friendly

Enable Customer Support (CX) and Operations

* Partner with CX and Ops to ensure ecosystem changes are understood, supported, and executable
* Design for edge cases, failure states, and servicing — not just ideal paths
Requirements

What we're looking for

Experience

* 5+ years' experience as a Digital Product Manager or Product Manager on consumer digital products
* Proven experience owning complex platforms, journeys, or ecosystems rather than a single feature
* Experience working in fintech, financial services, or other regulated environments

Digital product capability

* Strong end-to-end product delivery experience
* Comfortable writing PRDs and working closely with engineering and design teams
* Strong instincts for UX, journeys, and behavioural design

Commercial and strategic mindset

* Commercially curious and data-driven
* Able to balance customer outcomes, business goals, and delivery constraints
* Comfortable operating with ambiguity and influence rather than direct authority

Ways of working

* Hands-on, collaborative, and low-ego
* Comfortable working across multiple teams and domains
* Bias toward action, learning, and iteration

Highly regarded / bonus experience

* Experience in Financial Product Management, including exposure to:
* Managed investment schemes or superannuation products
* Product governance, DDO, or regulatory frameworks
* Experience working on platform integrations or multi-product ecosystems
* Experience using AI tools for discovery, prototyping, analysis, or automation

What this role is (and is not)

This role does:

* Lead cross-product digital platforms and experiences
* Shape how all Spaceship products come together for customers
* Drive meaningful business and customer outcomes through execution

This role does not:

* Hold primary accountability for financial product definition, fees, or risk settings
* Act as the final decision-maker on regulated product governance

Primary accountability for these areas sits with Financial Product Managers. This role partners closely with them to align digital journeys, surface trade-offs, and deliver cohesive customer outcomes.
