**Your new role**
- Support Senior Finance officer in the preparation of annual budget estimates and assist in identifying financial, administrative and or asset management issues and provide information as required.
- Undertake or assist with financial investigation and rectification including journals and other corrective actions.
- Assist with budgeting functions and financial reporting to ensure that timely and accurate information is recorded.
- Assist with contract development and procurement activities as required, and ensure all activity is delivered to organisational and stakeholder expectations of time and quality whilst following Departmental and Whole of Government processes.
- Undertake or assist with project support activities including research, project support and data management to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of CBS business support and customer service
- Assist in the preparation of reports, briefing notes, submissions and other associated correspondence on a range of complex issues.
- Undertake compliance reviews and provide administrative governance advice and guidance as required
- Contribute to the reviewing and development of Finance related resources and processes that comply with FMPM policies and procedures for CBS.
**What you'll need to succeed***
- Experience with SAP is desirable
- Experience with Financial accounting, including journals, Asset management, budgeting and more.
- Knowledge of Common Reporting Program (CRP) or similar programs, FMPM and Queensland Procurement Policy
- Builds and sustains relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes
