With a strong reputation for quality, reliability and innovation, the company continues to expand and is now seeking an experienced CFO to join the executive leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in guiding long-term financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and influencing the direction of a well-established and growing organisation.
About The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the primary purpose of this role is to lead the finance function and ensure the organisation maintains strong financial health, operational excellence and long-term sustainability.
Your responsibilities will include :
* Overseeing all accounting and finance functions including budgeting, forecasting, cashflow and statutory compliance
* Leading and mentoring the finance and accounts team to drive accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement
* Managing financial performance across multiple construction projects, including job costing and contract reporting
* Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with commercial objectives and growth plans
* Ensuring compliance with tax, regulatory and financial reporting requirements
* Providing senior leadership with insights, modelling and recommendations for strategic decision-making
* Driving systems improvements and strengthening financial controls across the business
About You
The successful candidate will have :
* CPA or CA qualification with 10+ years' experience in senior financial leadership roles
* Proven experience as a CFO, Financial Controller or Finance Manager in the construction industry (essential)
* Strong understanding of project accounting, cost control, progress claims and contract financial management
* Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* A hands‑on approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution
* High levels of commercial acumen, integrity and attention to detail
