What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll take ownership of managing accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting and governance to support business operations efficiently. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong technical accounting knowledge and a passion for process improvement.
* Financial reporting and compliance: The role includes leading timely and accurate financial reporting, managing statutory reports, liaising with auditors and tax advisors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Financial controls and business support: Responsibilities cover maintaining internal controls, overseeing risk management and cash flow, partnering with commercial teams for financial governance, and managing processes related to credit limits and supplier payments.
* Leadership and process improvement: The Financial Controller leads and develops the finance team, fosters a culture of accountability, drives system and process improvements including automation, and manages capex reporting and processes.
What you'll bring
* CPA/CA qualification with extensive experience in financial leadership, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
* Deep knowledge of financial accounting, reporting standards, and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
* Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
* Proven experience managing teams and business stakeholders.
* High attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
* Attention to detail and sound judgment in decision-making.
