Are you a dedicated nursing professional looking to take the next step in your career? Join the team as a Nurse Unit Manager for the Surgical Services Directorate in Bunbury.

Position Overview: As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be a key member of the Bunbury Hospital Senior Management Group. Your responsibilities will include developing systems and processes for efficient service delivery, fostering strong relationships within the healthcare community, and providing strategic advice to senior management on the provision of hospital-based health services.

Key Responsibilities


* Ensure the provision of clinical and medical services within agreed budget, volume, and quality benchmarks.
* Develop and maintain systems to measure service effectiveness and efficiency within the Surgical Services Directorate.
* Coordinate and manage hospital services according to budgetary and quality requirements.
* Liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders to promote integrated healthcare delivery.
* Provide leadership and facilitate change within clinical directorates in line with WACHS strategic direction.
* Undertake research and prepare detailed reports on local health service planning and provision.

Ideal Candidate
* Extensive knowledge and experience in managing a Surgical Services Directorate, including financial and clinical resource management.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to navigate complex change management processes.
* A strong understanding of contemporary issues within the public healthcare sector, particularly in regional and rural settings.
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, able to liaise effectively across various contexts.
* Exceptional analytical and evaluation skills to provide innovative solutions to healthcare challenges.
* A thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements affecting health service delivery.
