Operations Supervisor – Rocklea, QLD
Join our Resources and Industrials division based in Rocklea, working alongside a major gas provider. Your role is to lead a high‐performing, safety‐obsessed team, directing, coordinating, supervising, and achieving service objectives for local deliveries of customer products.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Organise vehicles and drivers to meet customer load requirements.
* Monitor drivers to ensure that customer requirements are met.
* Ensure that all equipment and ancillary equipment is in operating condition.
* Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements, Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Load Restraint, and all aspects of the NHVR.
* Track transport workers' training records to ensure completion within required timelines and that all transport workers are appropriately reviewed according to management procedures.
* Demonstrate effective leadership in continuous improvement for all customer‐focused requirements.
* Actively participate in the roll‐out of toolbox meetings and other communications to workers and contractors.
What You'll Need To Succeed
* Previous and proven supervisor experience within a similar Transport/Logistics role.
* A positive attitude and appetite to learn.
* Demonstrated experience with Operations, CoR, Fatigue Management desirable but not essential.
* An analytical mind‐set with strong problem‐solving ability.
* Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal.
* Computer literacy skills – MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines within a time‐pressured environment.
* Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment).
