Nurse Role Overview
Our organisation is looking for an experienced and compassionate Nurse to join our team at a residential aged care home in Bathurst, NSW. This role provides the opportunity to work with residents who require high-quality clinical care and provide a person-centred approach.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include:
* Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
* Acting as a Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
* Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role you'll need:
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
* Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
* Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
* Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
* Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age–related health issues
* Strong coaching/training skills
* Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
* Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
