Job Title: Aquatic and Recreation Officer
Work with us to deliver exceptional customer experiences in our Leisure Centre. We're seeking a skilled Aquatic and Recreation Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct water sampling tests and ensure water quality complies with health standards.
• Maintain pool circulation and filtration systems, and ensure plant rooms are clean and free of hazards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and report required maintenance to relevant staff.
• Coordinate setup and removal of equipment for bookings, programs, and events.
• Clean change rooms, pool areas, toilets, and showers as needed.
• Operate plant, equipment, devices, and protective gear according to safety procedures and provided instruction.
• Supervise patrons and casual staff, ensuring workplace safety and general safety standards are maintained.
• Assist with or supervise delivery of aquatic and recreational programs to patrons, aligned with current qualifications.
• Provide reception and administrative duties and handle customer complaints, delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
• Western Australian Pool Lifeguard Qualification
• Pool operations certificate Group 1
• Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus and Chlorine Gas certification
• Current HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid Certificate
• Current WA Working with Children Check
• Current unrestricted WA
