**Job Description**:

As a key leadership role and business relationship manager between Global IM, SMC and the SMC Operational Sites - you'd be responsible for delivery of local Global IM requirements while governing the Global IM Framework implementation on an operational level, levering Global services and standards to deliver an optimal SMC IM model.
**Your duties will include**:
- Oversee and lead the delivery of IT projects and services in the Australia region
- Serve as the business relationship conduit for the allocated region stakeholders - SMC Lead
- Define three to five year horizon views to ensure IM strategies and investments are communicated and aligned to business priorities in line with Global IM Framework ensuring the SMC business needs (Outlook and Planning : 2-5 years)
- Optimize the performance, cost & demand (quality and volume) of service within the business economic context and approved budgets
- Provide highly-valued consulting level support and guidance through key IM initiative
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders to align IT initiatives and implementations with business objectives
- Manage IT professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Ensure project governance and adherence to project management methodologies
- Assess project performance metrics and address any issues or risks
- Foster strong relationships with regional clients and stakeholders
- Drive efficiencies and optimization opportunities
- Align IM Regional and Global Strategies to SMC business strategies
**Qualifications**:
- An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM Discipline and/or Technical
- Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in the related IM discipline OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity - preferred
- Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development
**Experience**:
- IT and OT discipline and governance
- Change management and stakeholder engagement
- HQ, Regional and Frontline IM services, toolsets and standards
- Team leadership to ensure effective resource utilisation across the portfolio
- Regional and local conditions
- Provides a consistent outstanding role model with safety practices with a deep understanding of the importance of safety
- Manage Regional problems and the different processes involved
- Perform continuous improvement reviews to align with the changing business demands deliver SLA outcomes and governance to a defined client base
- Manage service improvement programmes
- Implement IM tactics that reduce client service complexity and enable improved IM delivery
- Deliver Regional Hub portfolio series including commercial, operational technology contractual, financial and Organisational aspects
- Continuously improve team performance - 24/7 support principles and competencies
