Your New Role This is a Junior Legal Counsel role designed as a genuine development opportunity for an early-career lawyer looking to build a strong foundation in commercial in-house practice. You will join a small, supportive legal team and receive hands-on mentoring from multiple senior lawyers, gaining exposure well beyond “desk-based” contract review. The role is heavily weighted towards commercial contracts, with meaningful interaction across the business. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing, amending and advising on a high volume of commercial agreements, including customer and operational contracts Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand commercial context, risk allocation and business priorities Advising on contracts in a practical, solutions-focused way Supporting broader legal matters as they arise, including insurance, occasional disputes, and employment or IP issues This role will suit a lawyer who is curious, engaged and keen to understand how a business operates.
