This role oversees all communications, branding and marketing for The Beach Hotel Merewether, as well as our sub-brands Larrie's and Peregrin. We're looking for a forward-thinking, innovative Marketing Manager who will take ownership of strategy and execution, from content creation to campaign management across print, digital, and social platforms.
About the Role
As part of our central Marketing team, you'll report to the Senior Group Marketing Manager and the Group Head of Marketing and work closely with the Hotel Venue Manager to ensure The Beaches' story is told in a way that builds connection, drives engagement, and delivers results.
* Lead the marketing for the entire venue, working alongside Senior Group Managers and Owners to deliver core marketing and sales activity.
* Own and develop the content strategy for The Beach Hotel Merewether and its sub-brands.
* Manage the workload, priorities, and output of the Marketing Coordinator, ensuring tasks are clearly delegated, deadlines are met, and resources are used effectively. Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development support to help the coordinator thrive in their role.
* Build strong internal stakeholder and external partner relationships with an intrinsic understanding of marketing objectives and how they align with business priorities.
* Foster and grow relationships with third-party suppliers and agencies to support a seamless project delivery.
* Work with the Group Head of Marketing and office team to plan and execute campaigns, activations, and partnerships with key suppliers.
* Communicate consistently and effectively with all stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of marketing projects and campaigns.
* Identify and develop new project and partnership opportunities that align with our business and marketing objectives.
* Oversee creative briefs and manage graphic designers' workflow for events, campaigns, and general marketing collateral.
* Manage and produce photo/video shoots, including planning, styling, talent sourcing and on-the-day assistance for photographers and videographers.
About You
As the successful candidate you will have
* Experience in hospitality, film, fashion, media, entertainment, or retail is desirable.
* Skills in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite are highly valued (though not mandatory), as well as experience with WordPress, Squarespace, or CRM management.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated, organised and outcome-focused, with a demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver results.
