After recent significant growth, we are actively seeking applications for an experienced nightshift storeperson to join our team based in Wyong.
About the role
This is a permanent, full time position, reporting directly to the Nightshift Manager, working Sunday - Thursday nights. The purpose of this role is to pick, check and pack customer orders, using safe manual handling procedures and mobile equipment in a timely and effective manner.
Your key responsibilities are:
* Working in a temperature-controlled environment (freezer, chiller, ambient);
* Picking and checking outbound stock for deliveries using voice pick / scanning technology;
* Replenishing stock levels when required;
* Loading trucks for outbound deliveries;
* Employing correct stock rotation principles at all times, based on 'first in first out' rule;
* Practicing safe and correct manual handling principles at all times;
* Operating mobile equipment;
* Other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
About you:
* Hold a current and valid forklift licence for at least 24 months with good high-reach operational skills;
* Previous freezer and cold storage experience preferred but not essential;
* Experience in pick/pack work preferably with voice pick experience;
* Hard-working, committed and passionate with a can-do attitude;
* Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy;
* Good organisational and time management skills;
* Customer focused;
* Live and breathe safety;
* Able to work in an active and fast paced environment;
