Technical Business Analyst - Infrastructure Role

Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaising with various business stakeholders to facilitate information requirements and support the project life cycle.
2. Analysing needs and clearly defining and documenting business requirements for project scope.
3. Formulating and defining systems scope and objectives using information technology and industry knowledge.
4. Defining and implementing plans to realise business benefits, while tracking and reporting on progress.
5. Supporting the systems life cycle, including preparing business proposals and feasibility studies.
6. Evaluating the business implications of applying technology to current and potential environments, effectively managing business impacts.
7. Validating alternative solutions and technologies to drive timely and high-quality systems solutions.
8. Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and user training plans to ensure the quality and smooth introduction of the solution.
About the Role:
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be pivotal in identifying and articulating specific business needs and translating them into functional solution design specifications, ensuring alignment with project scope and objectives.
You will be responsible for end-to-end business process design and optimisation to meet business requirements.
Candidates should have a strong background in large and complex enterprise network and infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
2. Project Management Foundational Level certifications would be considered favourably.
3. IIBA certification is highly desirable.
4. 8+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
5. Experience working on enterprise-level networks, infrastructure, information security, or data centre-related projects.
6. Extensive experience in eliciting and documenting business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
7. Ability to drive the end-to-end requirements management process, from planning and elicitation to review, signoff, and change management.
8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including DMZ, firewalls, and routing.

A competitive daily rate up to $1100 per day will be offered for this 12 month contract position.
