About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and high-quality estimates for both residential and commercial building projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation of detailed estimates for quotes, variations, reports, and settlements.
* Review of project documents to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
* Liaison with clients, builders, subcontractors, and suppliers for accurate pricing.
* Maintenance of up-to-date knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost trends.
* Management of competing priorities, improvement of estimating processes, and timely delivery.
* Collaboration across teams and representation of clients professionally.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* 2–3 years' experience in estimating within the construction industry, with a strong technical understanding.
* Proficiency in estimating software, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive, solutions-focused, and team-oriented attitude.
* Desirable: experience in insurance estimating and knowledge of relevant regulatory bodies.
* Desirable: degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
