Freight Transportation Specialists Job Description
We are seeking experienced Freight Transportation Specialists for Shutdowns and various backfill positions with leading clients for WA mine sites, these are typically FIFO roles however we do have opportunities for DIDO sites too.
1. Transportation of heavy-duty equipment to mine site locations.
2. Maintaining the cleanliness of transportation vehicles.
3. Perform regular inspections of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories such as tires, lights, turn signals and brakes
4. Loading cargo according to safety protocols.
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety policies, procedures, and legislation.
6. Maintenance of accurate paper or electronic log books.
7. Effective communication with Dispatchers and other drivers using two-way radios or on-board computers.
