As a Workshop Technician, you will take responsibility for mechanical maintenance ensuring quality.
(Salary range - AUD 85k /annum – AUD 110k/ annum - Full time)
Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining and repairing subsea oil and gas equipment
* Ensuring availability of materials, equipment, parts, procedures, and qualifications to perform the job according to WOP and BH EHS standards
* Commissioning, running, maintaining, and repairing Baker Hughes equipment
* Following workshop procedures and ensuring compliance
* Promoting adherence to company and regulatory quality management systems
* Maintaining workshop equipment and facilities in operational condition
* Accurately completing WOP documentation
* Using materials and support substances according to specific requirements
Work Experience

To succeed in this role, you should:
* Have at least 3 years of relevant workshop experience in the Oil & Gas industry
* Be able to work effectively in cross-functional teams
* Hold a Mechanical Fitting Cert III qualification or equivalent
* Possess good mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and multitasking skills with technical equipment
* Be capable of performing basic mathematical calculations, with good mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
* Communicate well with internal and external customers
* Have experience and knowledge of subsea components such as trees, chokes, IWOCS, and control systems
