Service Support Officer (APS 3)
An exciting opportunity is available to join a professional team delivering essential health and wellbeing services within a government environment. This role suits someone who thrives as the first point of contact, balancing strong customer service with solid administrative support.
Key responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and stakeholders.
* Manage enquiries via phone, email, and face‐to‐face interactions.
* Coordinate and maintain appointments and client records.
* Provide administrative support including data entry, documentation, and correspondence.
* Assist with referrals and service coordination.
* Support the delivery of programs, meetings, and events.
* Contribute to daily operations including invoicing, travel coordination, and general office support.
* Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting requirements.
About you
* Experience in customer service and administration, ideally in government or health settings.
* Strong communication skills and accuracy in your work.
* Ability to follow procedures and apply policies consistently.
* Confidence using systems and handling sensitive information.
* A professional and empathetic approach when dealing with clients.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience supporting business operations and service delivery.
* Ability to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People registration or Working with Children Check.
* Australian citizenship.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
