About the role
As a valued member of our pharmacy team, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective and patient-centred medication management across our service. In this dynamic position, you will provide high-quality professional, dispensing, clinical, production and counselling services to both inpatients and outpatients. With your strong clinical knowledge and commitment to best practice, you’ll help optimise drug therapy, support safe prescribing, and contribute to positive health outcomes for the community we serve.
Working collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health colleagues, you will offer timely drug and therapeutic advice in line with hospital policies, SA Health guidelines, and all relevant legislation. You will be part of a dedicated team of professional and non-professional staff focused on excellence, innovation and continuous improvement. About You
You’re a motivated and collaborative pharmacist who brings a solid clinical foundation, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based and patient-centred care. With a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and registration or eligibility for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia, you are ready to contribute confidently within a busy multidisciplinary workplace.
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
• Strong clinical knowledge across medication management, dispensing, production, medicines information and patient counselling, supported by pre-registration training in a hospital or community setting.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and under supervision.
• High levels of accuracy and organisation, including strong technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability, professionalism and sound judgement, with resilience, flexibility and the ability to navigate change while upholding legislative, ethical and professional standards.
