Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join our team based in Melbourne, VIC. This role plays a key part in supporting the financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all finance processes.

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial activities, reporting requirements, and providing guidance to the wider team. This includes accounts receivable and payable oversight, reconciliations, financial controls, safety net reporting and assisting with month-end processes.

This role is well suited to someone who takes ownership, enjoys improving processes, and values being part of a collaborative and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

* Manage invoice processing, including review, reconciliation, and issue resolution

* Support month-end and year-end financial processes

* Maintain and improve financial procedures

* Assist with financial reporting and analysis

* Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries

* Support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

* Proven experience in a similar finance role

* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

* Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities

* Confident communicator who can engage with both internal and external stakeholders

* Proactive and solutions-focused approach

* Experience working within a fast-paced environment.
