About the Role
As our HR Business Partner, you'll be based in our Brisbane office and support business units across Teachers Health multiple site locations, partnering with leaders and teams to deliver progressive people solutions that align with our purpose and strategy. You'll operate as a trusted advisor across all areas of the employee lifecycle, with a focus on, but not limited to, performance, capability, employee relations, employee experience, workforce planning, and change initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity for a HR practitioner with strong generalist foundations who's looking to step into a more strategic, consultative role. .

What will you do?

* Build strong partnerships with people leaders to understand priorities and deliver aligned HR strategies
* Provide expert support in performance management, grievance handling, employee relations and recruitment
* Promote organisational change and culture initiatives that reflect our values and commitment to diversity and inclusion
* Partner with leaders to coach and support talent attraction and management, workforce planning, and growth and development
* Drive adoption of our Heart 2 Heart performance framework and help grow leadership capability
* Provide insights through HR metrics and reporting to guide people strategy and risk management
* Participate in cross-functional People, Culture & Capability projects.

What you need to be successful in the role?
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an equivalent HR Business Partner or generalist role
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and HR best practices
* Demonstrated experience in supporting leaders through employee relations and performance matters
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, consultation, and communication skills
* A proactive, practical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
* Desirable: Experience in health, insurance, education or not-for-profit sectors.
