Production Planning Role
The goal of the Production Planner is to manage end-to-end planning across fabrication, electrical assembly, and dispatch. This involves coordinating production schedules, forecasting material needs, and maintaining a high level of efficiency.
* Coordinate production schedules across fabrication, paint, electrical, and assembly bays
* Collaborate with purchasing to ensure materials availability
* Participate in weekly production meetings and contribute to S&OP meetings
* Align BOMs and work orders with production activity and customer needs
* Present forecasts and upcoming capacity plans to stakeholders
* Support continuous improvements following an ERP implementation
About the Position
The ideal candidate has previous experience in production planning, preferably in industrial or equipment manufacturing. They should be confident working cross-functionally, have strong ERP skills, solid forecasting and scheduling capabilities, and excellent attention to detail.
