Alpha Smash Repair is an automotive repair and refinishing workshop specialising in panel beating, smash repairs, and high-quality vehicle refinishing.
We are seeking a full-time Vehicle Painter to join the team in Perth, WA. The role involves preparing and refinishing vehicles to a high standard in a busy workshop environment. Salary offered is $70,000 – $80,000 per year plus super.
Responsibilities
* Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming
* Mix and match paint colours to manufacturer specifications
* Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray‐painting equipment
* Mask and protect vehicle components prior to painting
* Repair minor surface imperfections prior to refinishing
* Operate and maintain spray‐painting equipment and spray booths
* Inspect completed work to ensure high‐quality finish and colour accuracy
* Perform touch‐ups and refinishing as required
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Work collaboratively with panel beaters and workshop staff to meet deadlines
Qualifications
* Trade Certificate and at least 2 years of relevant work experience
* Strong knowledge of automotive paint systems and application techniques
* Experience with colour matching and paint mixing
* Ability to work efficiently in a workshop environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
