About the Opportunity

The HR Officer is responsible for providing the timely delivery of a range of high-quality recruitment administrative functions and services essential to ensuring that the ODPP recruitment initiatives operate smoothly and effectively. The Officer also coordinates and delivers processes, tasks and reporting for end-to-end recruitment process and maintains accurate HR databases, records, and organisational information while coordinating correspondence and information distribution across the office.

About the Business

The ODPP is an office of approximately 200 staff, comprising both legal and administrative functions. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions was established through the Director of Public Prosecutions Act, 1991 to provide an effective, fair and independent criminal prosecution service for the people of South Australia. The Office is committed to the highest ethical and professional standards.

Special Conditions for Employment

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.

Some out of hours work may be required.

Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
