Project Manager Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project in South Australia. As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing commercial and contractual expertise to the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that all project managers and stakeholders understand and comply with commercial requirements.

2. Review and approve subcontract proposals.
\
3. Attend contract acceptance meetings to ensure commercial issues are addressed.
\
4. Interpret tender documents and apply commercial agreements at both Head Contract and Subcontract level.
\
5. Manage commercial and contractual issues, including disputes and claim management.
\
6. Identify and quantify scope changes and support negotiations with clients.
\
7. Undertake post-contract reviews and analysis.
\
8. Establish and develop a high-performing team through coaching and mentoring.
\
9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
\
10. Provide expert advice on commercial matters and lead the development of commercial strategies.
\
11. Work closely with the project team to ensure that commercial objectives are met.
\
12. Monitor and report on commercial performance metrics.
\
13. Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement efficient contracting practices.
\
14. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners.
\
15. Provide commercial guidance and support to project managers and other stakeholders.
