About Our Team
Our Explosive Ordnance Services team supports the Australian Defence Force, providing storage, distribution, maintenance, and disposal services nationwide. This role offers a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating opportunities for growth.
We have 17+ depots throughout Australia, enabling various development and progression opportunities within our logistics services business.
Your Role
As an Assistant Facilities Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting facilities management and maintenance at Myambat. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinate maintenance activities, and liaise with contractors and stakeholders.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team supporting essential operations for the Australian Defence Force.
You will be located at our Myambat site, working on Wanaruah and Kamilaroi land, and your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
* Supporting the development and monitoring of facility maintenance schedules.
* Conducting regular inspections, identifying defects, and coordinating necessary repairs or servicing.
* Collaborating with contractors, suppliers, and Defence representatives to ensure maintenance activities align with Australian Standards.
* Managing site access, inductions, work permits, and contractor activities.
* Operating vehicles and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as licensed.
Your Experience
* Knowledge of facilities management and safety regulations.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in small teams.
* Experience coordinating industrial site maintenance activities.
* Experience within the defence and/or warehouse environment would be highly advantageous.
