About The Role
BRG is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Design & Delivery specialist (Level 4) to support the Australian Submarine Agency (ASA) within the SSN-AUKUS Program.
This role will support the end-to-end design, build, and sustainment of the submarine supply chain, contributing to the development of sovereign capability and Australian Industry Capability (AIC). You will work within an integrated environment alongside Government, Defence, the Australian Shipbuilder, and industry partners.
The role requires the ability to provide strategic advice, planning support, and delivery input across supply chain design, procurement pathways, and sustainment considerations within a highly complex Defence program.

Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be embedded within the ASA supply chain environment and will:
* Work collaboratively within the SSN-AUKUS Division, supporting integrated teams across Government, Defence, and industry
* Provide subject matter expertise in supply chain design and delivery aligned to submarine program requirements
* Support the Commonwealth Supply Chain Integrated Project Team (IPT) in achieving key program objectives
* Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of supply chain frameworks across the program lifecycle
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the design and implementation of end-to-end supply chain models for submarine build and sustainment
* Assisting in identifying and enabling procurement pathways (e.g. FMS, local engagement, international sourcing)
* Utilising planning artefacts such as Equipment Procurement Plans and Bill of Materials to inform procurement sequencing and critical path activities
* Providing input into the acquisition of materials and services, including funding considerations and configuration control
* Supporting Government-to-Government procurement activities, including items associated with the Geelong Treaty
* Contributing to the assessment and development of Australian supplier capability and capacity
* Supporting activities to mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier qualification and schedule impacts
* Providing input into supply chain elements of production demonstration activities
* Supporting sustainment planning, ensuring logistics considerations are embedded early in procurement
* Assisting with broader supply chain functions including warehousing and inventory management considerations
* Supporting specific initiatives such as the Hull Steel Qualification project
To be Successful
* Significant experience supporting complex, large-scale Defence or industry programs
* Strong understanding of supply chain design, logistics, and sustainment within Defence environments
* Experience working across integrated teams, including Government, ADF, and industry stakeholders
* Ability to provide advice, coordination, and delivery support across supply chain activities
* Exposure to procurement planning, sourcing pathways, and supplier engagement
* Understanding of configuration control, logistics planning, and acquisition processes
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
* Ability to operate in a structured, high-governance environment
Desirable
* Experience within maritime, shipbuilding, or submarine programs
* Familiarity with Australian Industry Capability (AIC) and sovereign capability objectives
* Exposure to Government-to-Government procurement or international supply chain environments
Additional Requirements
* Must be able to work on-site in Adelaide, SA
* Willingness to undertake interstate and/or international travel if required
* Must comply with Defence security requirements, including use of approved systems (DPN/DSN)
* Ability to support export-controlled environments (including ITAR requirements)
* Willingness to complete required confidentiality and security documentation
