Machinist (CNC & Manual) | Workshop | Townsville | Immediate Start
Our client is a Blue-Chip organization that has been in business for 50 years who are seeking experienced Machinist's (CNC &/or Manual) to join their workshop team based in Townsville. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with consistent hours, working on precision machining projects in a well-established engineering environment.
These positions are ideal for machinists with either CNC or conventional machining experience with Conventional lathes and milling machines, with preference given to candidates who have both (preferred but not essential.

About the Role:
* Operate both CNC and conventional machines including lathes and milling machines
* Read and interpret technical drawings and machining specifications
* Perform precision machining to meet required tolerances and quality standards
* Set up, adjust, and monitor machines during operation
* Maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment
* Work collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines
What we are looking for:
* Certificate III in Engineering (Metal Machining – First Class)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in machining
* Experience in CNC and/or conventional machining
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Good work ethic and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol screening
