Role Description
This full-time on-site role, based in the Greater Melbourne Area, is for a Commercial Service Electrician. The position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components, including lighting, power, communications, and security systems in commercial spaces. The electrician will work closely with project managers and other trades, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, conducting troubleshooting, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance. Clear communication with clients and team members is an integral part of the role.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in installing and maintaining electrical systems, including power, lighting, and communication networks.
* Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing electrical issues, and performing repairs efficiently.
* Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements in commercial electrical work.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with clients and colleagues.
* Electrical trade qualification and a valid A Grade Electrician license.
* Current driver's license and ability to travel as required.
* Experience in additional services such as security and audio-visual installations is a plus.
