What You'll Need For Success
Current Pool Life Guard qualification or the ability to obtain prior to starting
Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
Working with Children Blue Card
Outstanding work ethic
Good health and physically fit
Awareness of Safety
Possess good interpersonal skills in order to provide excellent customer service and work effectively as part of a team

As part of our commitment to supporting our team, Fraser Coast Regional Council will arrange and guide you through the steps on obtaining a Pool Lifeguard certification for successful candidates. This is a great opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification and start a rewarding role serving your community.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Actively supervise patrons, activities and the aquatic environment to minimise risks and ensure that patrons conduct themselves in accordance with the conditions of entry
Support kiosk / admission operations as required.
Rescue patrons in difficulty and provide emergency care to those in need
Maintain and clean equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and healthy operating environment
