In this role, you'll:
Be working as part of a team of auditors and leading a smaller team, delivering audit activities with point-to-point transport sector stakeholders will see you conducting targeted monitoring of complex regulated entities within the point-to-point transport industry to ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards are adhered to through the implementation of a safety audit program.
Leading a small team of auditors will be part of your role, including reviewing their audit work, providing guidance, and managing their workload capacity.
You will travel throughout NSW undertaking audits and engaging with, educating and evaluating the regulated community regarding the legislation's compliance requirements.
Adaptability and flexibility are essential as working hours and location can vary at short notice you may need to drive or fly to any destination in NSW.

About you
Your strong risk-based audit framework experience along with your excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills formed while working in a regulatory, compliance or government organisation will see you excel in the challenges of this role enabling you to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders including multinational organisations, supporting the Manager Audit and leading to successful outcomes for the NSW Point to Point Commission and its stakeholders.
You're recognised as an audit professional, skilled in risk-based audit frameworks, with the ability to utilise best practice audit systems, analyse data and prepare complex reports, your experience in the use of live testing techniques gained through extensive audit practice including the testing of exception reports and the evaluation of data integrity controls is required.
You can lead a small team of individuals who work with a high level of autonomy. Balancing multiple priorities simultaneously and achieving timely and effective results is one of your key attributes.
