Employment Details
* Permanent part‐time position – 15 hours per week
* Hourly rate starting at $31.50 per hour (Level 4 CSA), negotiable based on experience
* Salary packaging available for living expenses
Role
We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood Educator to support the strategic and operational delivery of our newest program, Glenorchy Uniting OSHC.
You will be part of a growing team of educators who deliver after‐school programs that provide high‐quality education and care to school‐aged children and support the wider community. You will provide nurturing care, ensure a safe and welcoming environment and create recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all to enjoy. You will build positive relationships with the team and work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

About You
* You have an enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare, with the ability to form positive relationships with children and team members.
* Have 4 or more years of experience working alongside children in outside school hours care programs.
* You demonstrate the ability to work with your OSHC Service Leader and team to plan and implement a fun, safe and engaging program that adheres to our laws, regulations and learning frameworks.
* You have or are willing to obtain first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certificates and a Working with Vulnerable People Card.
* Qualifications in Early Childhood Education are desirable but not essential.
