About the Position
As Senior Project Accountant, you will focus on managing the financial aspects of large-scale touring projects across Australia and internationally, ensuring accurate financial outcomes for major names in entertainment.
You will collaborate with production and commercial teams to provide timely and actionable financial insights, supporting successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage project accounting for touring shows and events, including budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Prepare detailed month-end reporting and variance analysis for key stakeholders, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
* Oversee project cashflows and ensure accurate cost allocation, minimizing financial risks and maximizing returns.
* Partner with production and commercial teams to provide expert financial guidance and support decision-making.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and system efficiencies within project accounting, enhancing overall productivity and performance.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, supporting year-end audits and other regulatory requirements as needed.
Requirements
* 4–6+ years' experience in accounting, ideally with exposure to project accounting or commercial analysis, with a strong understanding of financial modelling and Excel skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
