Our clinic in Armidale is currently seeking a Chief Radiographer or Sonographer to join the team.
The role is a full time position, reporting to the Regional Manager working Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm.
Role Overview:
As Chief Medical Imaging Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our clinic in Armidale. You will be responsible for managing the daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and leading a team of dedicated professionals. Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management and operations of the clinic
* Perform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required
* Manage, develop, and mentor Sonographers, Medical Imaging Technologists and Nurses, and provide clinical guidance in the clinic
* Work closely with senior staff to plan and manage the daily workforce requirements, taking into account productivity levels in the clinic by ensuring appropriate staff rostering, annual leave planning, and general leave management as required
* Provide quality improvement initiatives, and review and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes
* Provide the highest level of patient care and customer service

Relevant degree and qualifications within Medical Imaging or Ultrasound
Ability to manage, coach and lead clinic staff
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
