Role Highlights
As Electrical Supervisor, you will ensure effective day-to-day planning, scheduling and execution of the Outer Harbour electrical maintenance in compliance with the relevant, Australian Standards, WorkSafe regulations and Fremantle Ports policies and procedures.
The Electrical Supervisor's roster is 7 days on, 7 days off 12-hour shifts.
In this diverse, hands-on role, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Investigate project proposals, develop electrical and communications equipment maintenance / upgrade / replacement scopes of work, specifications, schedules, cost estimates and contracts as required for Fremantle Ports and its customers.
* Monitor and report progress against the established maintenance and operational plans and targets to the Manager Maintenance (Outer Harbour).
* Carry out continuous assessment of plant reliability issues and implement improvements as required to maintain maximum plant availability.
* Consult with relevant regulatory authorities and agencies to ensure that the Ports' electrical services and related infrastructure comply with statutory technical and safety codes, regulations and codes of practice.
What Makes You a Great Fit
You bringwell-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with other team members, customers and suppliers. You demonstrate a sound understanding of Work Safety & Health and Employee Relations policies and procedures.
You'll also bring:
* Experienced high voltage switching operator in performing high voltage switching operations and maintenance.
* Substantial experience in electrical maintenance on diversified plant and equipment to a level that will enable assessment of plant reliability issues to be made and improvement initiatives to be identified.
* Substantial knowledge of Electrical Act and Regulations, Statutory and Safety Standards.
* A mindset of continuous improvement, consistently seeking ways to enhance systems, processes, and outcomes while embodying our core values ofCollaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence (CARE).
