Job Title: IT Assistant
We are seeking an IT Assistant to join our team at St. George Christian School.
The successful applicant will work in partnership with the IT team, teaching and non-teaching staff to actively support the Christian vision, ethos and policies of the school while performing a range of IT related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support
* Provide first-line support for devices and IT equipment.
* Manage user accounts and passwords.
* Identify and report recurring technical issues.
Device Management
* Deploy and configure new hardware.
* Maintain and update software and systems.
* Perform hardware repairs and maintenance.
* Manage IT asset inventory and disposal.
Documentation and Reporting
* Create user guides and FAQs.
* Document IT procedures and configurations.
AV Support
* Assist with audio-visual setup for events.
Equipment Management
* Manage the loan and return of school equipment.
Essential Criteria:
* Adhere to work health and safety standards.
* Work cooperatively in a team, as well as autonomously.
* Prioritise and complete set tasks in a timely and organised manner.
* Attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
* Proficient computer, written and oral communication skills.
* Shows initiative and is self-motivated.
* Willingness to perform additional duties related to the role, within the capabilities of the IT Assistant as required.
The successful applicant must undergo NSW Working With Children Check, identification verifications and referee checks.
Remuneration will be in accordance with the current NSW Christian Schools General Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement.
