Become a valued Road Safety Hero, representing Transport for NSW and ensuring the safety of children, parents, teachers and local motorists during school zone hours.
Overview
You will supervise school crossings during the school zone hours of 8:15–9:15 AM and 2:30–3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, building community relationships and acting as a trusted presence at the school.
Responsibilities
* Supervise school crossings during the school zone hours of 8:15–9:15 AM and 2:30–3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
* Ensure safe movement of children and traffic, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
* Maintain clear communication with parents, teachers and school staff.
* Build community relationships and be a familiar, trusted presence at the school.
Qualifications
* Minimum age of 18 years.
* Reliable and able to work in all weather conditions.
* Good communication skills and alertness to potential dangers.
* Willingness to obtain the required Working With Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check and Health Assessment (support provided).
Benefits
* Hourly rate of $26.43 per hour.
