Disability Support Professional
We are seeking flexible and reliable individuals to work in a casual capacity, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position once the roster is established.
The role requires availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and sleepovers.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Professional, you will provide direct care and support to clients to ensure that their individual needs are met. Our approach focuses on assisting and supporting clients to live a full life.
The things you may need to work with our clients on include:
* Personal care (showering, grooming, and dressing)
* Medication administration
* Meal preparation
* Manual handling
* Transport
* Purchases
* Social support
* Record keeping and reporting
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Australian Residency status or valid Australian working rights
* A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability), or currently working towards one
* Experience in the Disability Industry
* A current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence and an insured, reliable motor vehicle
* A current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration
* A National Police Check (Working with vulnerable peoples)
