The Accounts Administrator will play a key part in supporting the finance function, managing daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, cash management, reconciliations, and payroll coordination. You'll work closely with the Financial Controller and contribute to the accuracy and integrity of financial processes.

Key responsibilities:
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
* Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activities.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
* Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end close processes.
* Respond to internal and external financial inquiries promptly.
* Utilise accounting software to streamline financial operations.
Profile
A successful Accounts Administrator should have:
* A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
* Previous experience in a construction, logistics or wholesale environment is advantageous.
