Parish Secretary & Dean’s Personal Assistant
All Saints Cathedral Parish, Bathurst
All Saints Cathedral Parish Bathurst is currently seeking a capable and personable Parish Secretary to work closely with the Dean in supporting the life and ministry of the Cathedral.
Permanent Part-Time (16 hours per week).
Days and times negotiable.
The role includes:
* Providing administrative support to the Dean
* Keeping records of baptisms, funerals, and parish registers
* Producing parish communications, including the Parish Bulletin (print and digital)
* Responding to phone and email enquiries
The position reports directly to the Dean.
About You
You will have experience in office administration and a willingness to support the ethos of the Anglican Church of Australia. You will also demonstrate:
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Experience in desktop publishing (e.g. Canva)
* Proficiency in computer applications and office systems
* The ability to work collaboratively within a parish community
* A Working With Children Check (WWCC), National Police Check, and willingness to complete Diocesan Safe Ministry Training are required.
