The VET Business Teacher plays a vital role in advancing the strategic direction of The Scots College through the delivery of engaging, industry‐relevant and compliant Vocational Education and Training (VET) programmes in the Senior School. The role involves fostering practical business capability, workplace readiness and entrepreneurial thinking among boys, inspiring students to apply business concepts in real‐world contexts and cultivating a culture of applied learning, high expectations and inclusive support. It is a permanent full‐time teaching position, preferably starting in Term 2.

You are an enthusiastic and knowledgeable VET Business educator who is passionate about engaging young men through practical, skills‐based learning.
You hold recognised teaching qualifications, current NESA registration, and relevant VET qualifications (e.g. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment) or a willingness to obtain them.
You demonstrate a strong understanding of VET frameworks, including competency‐based training, assessment validation and compliance requirements.
You design and deliver structured, industry‐aligned programmes that engage students and build workplace‐ready skills.
