The Project Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the day‐to‐day execution of a defined project within a complex delivery environment. In this role you will manage the project plan, coordinate delivery teams, and actively manage dependencies and risks to ensure agreed milestones and benefits are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage the day‐to‐day execution of the project plan, ensuring delivery aligns to the agreed scope, timelines, and outcomes.
* Coordinate delivery teams and contributors to ensure tasks and activities are sequenced and executed effectively.
* Identify, track, and manage project‐level dependencies, risks, and issues.
* Actively monitor project progress and milestones, escalating risks and impacts as required.
* Maintain project schedules, plans, and status reporting to provide clear visibility of progress.
* Support delivery teams by removing blockers and resolving delivery constraints.
* Ensure project governance processes are followed, including change control and issue management.
* Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
* Support benefits realisation by tracking delivery progress against agreed objectives and outcomes.
* Foster collaboration between business and technical stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout delivery.
What You'll Need
* Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering technology or digital projects in complex environments.
* Strong experience managing project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross‐functional delivery teams.
* Experience working in regulated or enterprise‐scale environments.
* Understanding of delivery methodologies, including Agile, hybrid, or waterfall approaches.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Excellent organisational and time‐management skills, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
* Ability to balance hands‐on delivery management with reporting and governance requirements.
