Lake House is a highly acclaimed regional destination restaurant and hotel in Daylesford, Australia.
We are seeking an experienced Baker to join our passionate team and contribute to our iconic hospitality destination.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and baking sour dough bread loaves, baguettes, and rolls.
* Preparing viennoiserie and pastries, including glazing.
* Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping dough.
* Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times.
* Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of batches of bread, rolls, and pastry products.
* Operating machines that roll and mould dough.
* Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations for equipment operation.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant role.
* Excellent presentation and delivery skills in a hatted restaurant environment.
* Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
* Strong team player with excellent people and time management skills.
* Ability to work with international staff.
* Excellence in delivering quality customer service and customer satisfaction ratings.
