Will include, but not limited to:
1. Collaborate with internal team members and customers, including expectations around quality and on-time delivery and represents the business at project meetings with the customer.
2. Establishes and maintains standard project documentation to ensure transparency of status against program requirements and customer demands
3. Plans, monitors and ensures completion of all activities to ensure deadlines are met for deliverables on the contracted scope of work.
4. Resolves project issues and assists to resolve resource constraints and any internal conflict within allowable project timeframes
5. Provide status updates to key team members on project requirements including schedules, time-lines and critical issues
6. Ensures customer satisfaction by managing expectations, trouble shooting and providing accurate and timely reports, updates and financial forecasts including preparing any amendments to scope or budget in a timely manner
7. Submit all vendor documentation (including engineering drawings and data, performance test data, statutory and regulatory information) as required by the project scope and on-time to the customer
8. Evaluates project results against stated objectives and determines corrective action.
9. Participates in practical process improvement (PPI) projects and activities, using Root-Cause Counter-Measure (RCCM) tools to evaluate gaps or misses in performance and establish sustainable corrective and preventative actions
10. At all times protect the safety and wellbeing of self and all others in the workplace by adhering to company and individual site policies/practices
What will you bring to our team:
11. Tertiary degree in Science or Engineering, Project Management certification or equivalent experience
12. Demonstrated experience setting and achieving goals, managing time, tasks and risks, meeting deadlines, and multi-tasking
13. Experience developing strong customer relationships in a dynamic environment, proactively anticipating, understanding and responding to the needs of customers to meet or exceed their expectations
14. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, collaborate across teams and with partners and to motivate and influence
15. Ability to evaluate relevant facts, data and information to provide accurate reports, problem solve, and suggest workable solutions
16. Experience using internal systems associated with projects ERP
17. Proficiency in appropriate project planning tools and Microsoft applications to communicate milestones, critical path activities and responsibilities
18. Sound knowledge of commercial contracts and terms & conditions
19. Knowledge of industrial processing or mining industry would be an advantage
