Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) is a fast-growing Western Australian civil and mining contractor, offering opportunities for people to join a supportive and high-performing team. About our role
As a Blast Hole Driller at the Mt Holland Project, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient delivery of drilling operations supporting one of Australia's premier lithium developments. You will work within a high performing team, with experience operating Sandvik Leopards and DPI1500, aim to achieve production targets while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. This role offers the opportunity to work on a long-term project within a collaborative site culture, contributing directly to the success of a world-class operation.
Your Focus in this Role
* Safe and efficient operation of rigs in accordance with site procedures
* Drilling to plan and ensuring compliance is completed
* Accurately record daily drilling and production information
* Able to adapt to changing site conditions and work priorities
* Maintain a safe approach to work and look out for the safety of those around you
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience operating Sandvik DPI1500 and Leopard rigs
* Demonstrated experience drilling within a hard rock mining environment
* Strong awareness of site safety and procedures
* Reliable work ethic with a consistent approach to attendance and performance
* Previous experience working in hot or challenging environmental conditions
* Current and valid WA Driver's Licence
* Current DGSC or the ability to obtain one (desirable)
* Current National Police Clearance within 6 months
* Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical & DAS
