Position:Room Leader (Responsible Person)
Status: Full-time permanent - Two (2) positions available
Salary range: $ $37.92 per hour + $3.55 per hour (remote allowance) + additional allowances and superannuation
Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or (ACECQA approved equivalent)

Located in the small coastal community of Wadeye, 420kms from Darwin, the Wadeye Children and Family Centre is the place for dedicated and passionate educators. Selection criteria
* Minimum one (1) year's experience in a room leader role or above
* Experience in working in a remote community
* Strong knowledge of child development and theories relating to children's learning
* Communication skills and ability to lead a team
* Evidence of having contributed to assessment and rating at meeting or exceeding level
* Develop and evaluate high quality programs for children in line with recognised frameworks
* Ability to advocate for children's rights and role model positive relationships with children
Requirements
* Eligible to work in Australia and willing to relocate to Wadeye, NT
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or (ACECQA approved equivalent)
* Valid NT Ochre card (Working with Children Check)
* Current National Police Clearance certificate (less than 6 months old)
* Current First Aid and CPR certificate
