Base salary will be in the range $114,824.05 - $136,048.73 plus 17% Superannuation (Academic Level B).

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to build and grow their academic profile across teaching, research, and service & engagement. The role involves high‐quality teaching, advancing a research agenda, and providing academic leadership through coordination or supervision of staff. The successful candidate will also supervise Honours and Higher Degree by Research students and help develop an emerging national reputation in their field of research.
About This Opportunity
All areas of finance will be considered, with particular interest in fintech and investments/asset management.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver courses, engage in curriculum design, coordinate courses, assess students, provide academic counselling, and adhere to university teaching rules.
* Establish a research program, collaborate on research projects, seek and manage research funding, publish in reputable journals, using best‐practice research methodologies.
* Supervise and recruit students, provide feedback and training, and support the development of future researchers.
* Develop partnerships, demonstrate leadership through mentoring, engage in internal service roles and committees, perform administrative functions, provide support to colleagues, and uphold university values.

About You
Applicants should possess a PhD in a relevant field (Finance, Economics, or related field) and demonstrate:
* A growing profile in teaching and research in the discipline area.
* A developing reputation and track record of research aimed at high‐quality refereed journals and presentations at high‐quality conferences.
* A commitment to successfully seeking and managing external research funding.
* Evidence of high‐quality teaching across a variety of settings.
* A willingness to supervise Honours and Higher Degree students to successful completion.
* Evidence of internal service roles in conjunction with active contributions to external activities.
