The Club features a picturesque 18-hole layout across 31 hectares of parkland and enjoys a strong and engaged membership of more than 1,200.Wynnum also boasts a vibrant hospitality and events offering, with a modern clubhouse including a bistro, members' bar, gaming lounge (16 EGMs), and a popular function space that hosts weddings, events, and community gatherings.As the Club continues to grow and evolve, we are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead all facets of the Club's operations and drive the next chapter of strategic and cultural development.The OpportunityReporting directly to the Board of Directors, the General Manager will have full responsibility for the operational, financial, and strategic leadership of Wynnum Golf Club.Key responsibilities include:Overseeing daily operations across golf, course maintenance, hospitality, events, gaming, and administrationDriving financial sustainability through effective budgeting, forecasting, and complianceLeading and mentoring a multi-disciplinary team across various departmentsEnhancing the overall member and guest experience, with a strong focus on customer serviceImplementing marketing, branding, and membership growth initiativesSupporting governance and strategic planning in collaboration with the BoardActing as the Club's Gaming Nominee and ensuring regulatory compliance (RMLV, RSA, RSG)About YouYou are a dynamic, commercially minded leader with a passion for people, service excellence, and club culture.To be successful, you'll bring:A proven track record in managing golf clubs, licensed venues, or membership-based organisationsStrong financial acumen, with demonstrated experience managing budgets, reporting, and profitabilityHands-on leadership style with outstanding interpersonal and communication skillsA strategic mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with Boards and CommitteesExperience in marketing, hospitality operations, and member engagementQualifications in business, hospitality, or club management (preferred)Current RMLV, RSA, and RSG certification, or willingness to obtainWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary package (negotiable based on experience)Leadership of a well-established, respected golf club with deep community rootsA rewarding opportunity to shape the future of Wynnum Golf Club and deliver lasting impactHow to ApplySubmit your CV, cover letter (including referees), and your availability for commencement via email via the tab below.Applications close COB 5 September ****.
