You are a strategic and analytical Planner who understands the fast-paced nature of kids' retail and is excited by the opportunity to drive sales, profit, and product performance.
In this role you will lead merchandise planning across one of our most creative and high-potential categories, develop sales forecasts, optimise inventory and ensure our range delivers the right product mix.
How you will add value:
Build sales forecasts and merchandise plans for the Kids category
Analyse sales, stock and size performance to drive clear, actionable decisions
Produce accurate reporting across sales, margin and inventory KPIs
Oversee product allocation to ensure the right Kids range lands in the right stores
Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Retail Operations to execute the Kids strategy
Plan promotional and markdown activity to maximise sell-through
Track market and competitor trends to identify growth opportunities
Support and mentor the Allocator to build capability
About You:
Retail merchandise planning experience in a fast-paced environment
Skilled in building merchandise plans aligned to sales trends and customer demand.
Strong track record managing inventory to optimise flow and reduce overstock/stockout
Experience partnering with Supply Chain to lift allocation and distribution accuracy
Financial acumen with experience managing category budgets
Confident analysing margin, markdowns and profitability to guide buying decisions
Proficient in forecasting sales and managing open-to-buy
