What You’ll Be Doing
1. Commissioning and testing AV systems across diverse commercial environments
2. Working with DSPs (Biamp, Q-SYS, BSS), control systems (Crestron, Extron), and AV-over-IP platforms
3. Troubleshooting and resolving system issues onsite with minimal supervision
4. Configuring, calibrating, and documenting system performance
5. Liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth handovers
6. Providing occasional support during installation or integration if required
What You Bring
1. Experience in AV commissioning, integration, or service roles
2. Strong technical knowledge of commercial AV systems (DSPs, control systems, video distribution, networking)
3. Confidence in configuring and troubleshooting Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Extron or similar platforms
4. Ability to interpret schematics, signal flow diagrams, and project documentation
5. Excellent client communication skills —you know how to explain tech in plain English
6. A proactive, quality-first mindset and ability to work autonomously onsite
7. Current driver’s license and appropriate work rights for Australia
